Arizona restaurant sells lion burgers in odd World Cup tribute

What improved way to applaud the World Cup in South Africa than to sell costly burgers done out of lions? Okay, so, there are lots of improved ways to applaud it, though one Arizona grill motionless to go with this one, which -- surprise, warn -- hasn't gotten the warmest reaction from animal activists.

From Reuters:

The Il Vinaio grill in downtown Mesa has perceived abomb threat as well as around 250 e-mails from animal rights activistsafter it announced it would offer lion as the special to honorthe soccer tournament.

We suspicion which given the World Cup was in Africa thatthe lion burger competence be engaging for some of the moreadventurous customers, owners Cameron Selogie told Reuters.

Even more engaging for those brave customers? Being chased down by the lion which doesn't want to be done into the burger.

So only how most do these Simba burgers cost?

The grill is offering the lion burgers at $21, servedwith spicy homemade chips as well as roast corn upon the cob.

Wow, $21 for the burger, chips as well as corn? No wonder they're getting explosve threats.

Apparently these burgers aren't done of the endangered African lions, though. They're actually from the lion plantation in the U.S. Yes, the U.S. has lions farms.

Selogie pronounced which the lion being offering was lifted at aU.S. Department of Agriculture regulated free-range plantation inIllinoisa fact which has soothed some protesters.

I'm not just sure how the suspicion of the lion plantation can be soothing. It sounds more similar to the undiluted environment for the horrible nightmare. The kind of place you outlay the few wild hours lost as well as using for your hold up prior to being f! orced to pay $21 for the burger.
