Tottenham set to battle Manchester United and Manchester City for Eden Hazard
Tottenham are set to battle Manchester United and Manchester City in the race to sign Lille ace Eden Hazard.
Reds boss Sir Alex Ferguson is thought to have scouted the 21-year-old while the Reknapp has previously suggested City are watching him.
"He is a really good talent," Redknapp said of Hazard, an attacking midfielder who can play out wide or through the middle.
"If you want to be a top-four team you have to (go for players like Hazard) otherwise you can't expect to be a top team.
"If you want to compete with Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and two Manchester clubs, you have to buy top players.
"I think the club would do it if we come up with the right targets."
