Swedish paper predicts English headlines after Sweden win, gets it very wrong
Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet decided to have a little fun before Sweden's Group D match against England by publishing mock ups of the English headlines after a 5-0 thrashing from Sweden. Well, the game didn't exactly play out that way, with England reclaiming an early lead to come from behind and win 3-2.
Yes, England fought back and won with goals from Andy Carroll, a Theo Walcott blast from distance and an astonishing Danny Welbeck backheel (set up by Walcott). With two losses in two matches, Sweden now have no chance of advancing while England remain undefeated. That's what happens when you tempt fate even more than the English, Aftonbladet.
