Vauxhall mock Polish roof debacle with advertisement at Poland-England match

Poland's decision to not close the roof on their new National Stadium during a heavy rainstorm before their scheduled World Cup qualifier against England on Tuesday forced the match to be postponed a day due to a waterlogged pitch. When the match finally did go ahead on Wednesday, British car company Vauxhall decided to take a jab at the Polish FA by running an ad on the electronic boards around the pitch that promoted their car's fast closing roof.

It was quick thinking from Vauxhall and perhaps another regrettable oversight for Poland, but they were probably too busy chuckling over how their roof ploy might've helped their injury-stricken team to a 1-1 draw.
