Joey Barton might be a hipster

Newcastle midfielder Joey Barton is on Twitter now and he's providing a very different image of himself than the violent ex-con the world sees him as. Namely, as a funny guy who is into music and race horses.

Currently roaming around Los Angeles during his offseason break, Barton tweeted the above picture himself wearing Ray-Ban Wayfarers and holding up a T-shirt that reads "I listen to bands that don't even exist yet" along with the line "its actually factually correct..." and suddenly it start to come together. Notoriously thuggish Joey Barton might be a hipster. Or an wannabe hipster. Or a complicated human being that you can't sum up in one word. Or someone who beat up a hipster and stole his shirt and glasses.

Whatever the case may be, I hope he finds the "bring back the tash" shirt he is looking for.
