The 150,000 version of Leo Messi is made of wax, waiting at Wembley

Since the real Lionel Messi would cost far more than they could afford, Madame Tussauds decided to build their own. But instead of using Lego blocks and puppy sneezes, they used wax. Four months and 150,000 later, they dressed their creation in last season's Barca kit and unveiled their triumphant Wax Messi at Wembley.

The likeness is both creepy and impressive, even if the head does have an egg-shapedGary Barlow quality to it...

Wax Messi goes on display at the Madame Tussauds in London next week, where it will of course be placed next to their wax figure of Cristiano Ronaldo. Perhaps this is why Cristiano was so sad.
