Zlatan Ibrahimovic declares himself a living legend (in Malmo, at least)

Back in his hometown of Malmo, Sweden for international duty, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was honored with a place on the walk of fame outside Swedbank Stadion and he reacted with the utmost Zlatanness. Ibrahimvoic started his career with Malmo before moving to Ajax in 2001 and since then, the 30-year-old has become one of the most accomplished and confident footballers in the world. So instead of waiting until he retires, Malmo decided to honor him now, which Zlatan found mildly pleasing.

The 30-year-old was honored by local authorities with a place on the 'Walk of Fame' outside the stadium, a memorial for those from the city who have achieved in sport.

"It is a great honor, it means that I have done something during my career," Ibrahimovic was quoted as saying byFrance Football. "We usually say that you cannot become a legend before death. But I am a living legend - at least in Malmo."

When reading that last comment, it's important to note that Zlatan counts all of Europe and parts of Central America as "Malmo."
