Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis meet Chelsea, make jokes

Before leaving Seattle for the next stop on their U.S. preseason tour (New York), several Chelsea players met with Zach Galifianakis and noted Chelsea fan Will Ferrell at their hotel for a photo op with the Champions League trophy and FA Cup.

After Chelsea masseuse Billy McCulloch froze up upon meeting Ferrell and said he didn't know what his favorite film was after being urged on by Frank Lampard, Ferrell attempted to autograph the Champions League trophy. Zach Galifianakis, meanwhile, was so pleased when Petr Cech gave him his own personalized Chelsea away shirt that he tried to return the favor by handing Cech a glass off a nearby table. He also later expressed his disappointment that no one got them shorts to go with the new shirts.

Ferrell and Galifianakis did give the Chelsea players a St. Louis Rams helmet that they got on a previous promotional stop for their new movie together. Galifianakis even signed it himself, while Ferrell suggested Petr Cech wear it instead of his usual scrum cap. Ferrell resisted the urge to knock over the cups and mentioned how the players present didn't look as athletic as the rest of the team. A point Ross Turnbull probably didn't dispute.
