Jupp Heynckes upset with timing of Bayerns Guardiola news, reminds everyone he is the boss

Lost in the excitement of Bayern Munich naming Pep Guardiola their new manager starting next season is the fact that Jupp Heynckes is still the manager of the first-place club vying for three trophies this season. And Heynckes understandably has a bit of a problem with Bayern making the Guardiola announcement just before resuming the season after Germany's long winter break.

From ESPN:

"It would have been better to do this in the winter break," Heynckes told Sky. "Before Christmas, before the holidays. This is due to the media hype that might interfere with the normal working day."

Following Bayern's 2-0 win over Greuther Furth on Saturday, Heynckes was forced to respond to claims that he doesn't have enough control over his side.

"I am the boss," he said. "Anyone who knows me knows I am the boss here. I have been the boss everywhere, no matter where I have worked."

The press then asked if that means Pep Guardiola is the "boss of all bosses" and Heynckes strangled each and every one of them with his bare hands.
