Marco Materazzi keeps Rafa Benitez feud going with fat jokes

Last week, baffling Chelsea manager Rafa Benitez called full-time antagonist Marco Materazzi a liar nine times in a span of 30 seconds during his press conference. This was a reaction to Materazzi quotes published in France Football about how much he doesn't like Benitez from their short time at Inter together, how Benitez has written rules "like the highway code" and Benitez took down pictures of Inter's old manager -- including treble winner Jose Mourinho -- at the club's training complex. And since the world demands more of these two making themselves look childish and petty, Gazzetta TV asked Materazzi for his response to Benitez's response. It did not disappoint.

'So I'm a liar? He's thin then, so that gives reason to call me a liar,' quipped the former Everton man. 'It pains me to say good luck to Chelsea but I will anyway, I feel sorry for their fans.'

At Benitez's next press conference, expect him to put his fingers in his ears and repeat the phrase "Materazzi is a stupid head" 34 times in a minute.
