DTotD: Portland Timbers keeper Troy Perkins gets a face full of cleat

Montreal Impact put away two without reply when Western Conference underachievers Portland Timbers visited the Olympic Stadium on Saturday night. The most painful moment for the Timbers, however, came in the 63rd minute when Sanna Nyassi's cleat shared an intimate moment withgoalkeeper Troy Perkins' face.

Perkins was unable to continue in the game, but thankfully he appeared to escape the incident with just a few cuts and a bruised ego.

This has been the Dirty Tackle of the Day: a chronicling of unfortunate events.
