Manchester United and Real Madrid legends to relive classic Champions League ties for charity
Uniteds Champions League clashes with Real Madrid in 2000 and 2003 were so entertaining theyre replaying them but this time for charity.
United were beaten by Madrid twice in the Champions League knock-out stages, 3-2 on aggregate in 2000 and 6-5 on aggregate three years later.
United were defending the trophy they had won in Barcelona when they were paired with Real in the quarter-final in 2000. But Sir Alex Fergusons team drew 0-0 in the Bernabeu before Raul and Fernando Redondo inspired Real to a 3-2 win at Old Trafford.
In 2003, United lost 3-1 in the first leg in Madrid with Ruud van Nistelrooy getting the consolation.
And in the second leg, Ronaldo was given a standing ovation after scoring a stunning hat-trick before David Beckham came off the bench to help United win 4-3 on the night.
Now, legends from the two clubs have been lined up to play in the Corazon Classic Match, set to be held at the Bernabeu on Sunday, June 3.

And for some of the players on show it will be a re-match from those classic Champions League ties.
Roy Keane, Denis Irwin, Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke, Jaap Stam, Jesper Blomqvist and Edwin van der Sar have all been pencilled in to star for United.
And Real wont be short of star quality either with Redondo, Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo, Fernando Hierro, Ivan Helguera and Fernando Morientes a! ll due t o pull on the famous white shirt.
The proceeds from the star-studded game will be used to support the Real Madrid Foundations charity work in Africa.
Tickets are priced at 5, 10 and 15 euros and can be purchased online at www.realmadrid.com/fundacion.
There are also plans in place for a return match at Old Trafford on June 3, 2013.
