DTotD: Pepe sent to hospital after nasty collision with Iker Casillas

Pepe had to spend a night in the hospital after a ugly collision with Iker Casillas as Valencia scored their 42nd minute equalizer against Real Madrid. Pepe, Casillas and Xabi Alonso all collided as Jonas headed in a free kick, with the goalkeeper and defender getting the worst of it.

All three played on -- Pepe with a head wrap -- but the Portuguese usually known for inflicting pain on opponents had to be taken off at halftime after complaining of dizziness and was eventually taken to the hospital for the night. When test results came back negative, he was released on Monday.

This just reaffirms that when Pepe is on the pitch, no one is safe. Not even Pepe.
