DTotD: Trying to kick the ball through an opponents crotch

During the first leg of a cup semifinal between Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United, Pirates defenderRooi Mahamutsa decided the best way to reach the ball was through his opponent's. He delivered a kick directly between Thabiso Nkoana's legs and was then shown a red card.

The best part, however, is Mahamutsa's astonishment upon being sent off. Like he had no idea kicking people in the crotch was frowned upon. There also seems to be afundamentallack of understanding how science works here, too. But, hey, sometimes you have to trying kicking through the person between you and the ball to realize that doesn't work.
