Scott Parker blocks David Villa free kick with his head

England gave Spain their fourth loss in eight friendlies since winning the World Cup last year and they also prompted Cesc Fabregas and the Spanish media to moan about their winning tactics.

Though captain Frank Lampard scored the match's only goal with a header from inches out, Scott Parker was named Man of the Match for his efforts in thwarting the Spanish attack. One of those efforts he might not remember so well is the David Villa free kick he stopped with his head with a perfectly timed jump in front of England's wall. The impact knocked him to the ground and might've left a dent in his head.

Darren Bent, the member of the wall who Parker saved from taking a shot to the head himself, better take Scott out to dinner once he remembers how to chew.
