Dimitar Berbatov...doesn't want any more awards from Bulgaria

Our dear friend...The Continental won a Bulgarian Footballer of a Year endowment for a SEVENTH time upon Monday. It's a smashing feat and a true honor. It's additionally something Dimitar doesn't wish to occur again. To put it gently, he's had sufficient of winning your awards, Bulgaria.

From Reuters:

"I cite to see some of a younger lads winning a award," a 29-year-old said after coming tip in a poll of sports journalists.

"Please, don't vote for me anymore."

Like a belief that only because he doesn't run laps around opponents when scoring five goals at a time equates to that he's lazy, this statement is bound to be misconstrued as audacity instead of a selfless desire to widespread a recognition.
