Wenger certain Shawcross won't need bodyguards at the Emirates

Saturday will mark Stoke's first visit to Emirates Stadium since Ryan Shawcross snapped Arsenal prodigy Aaron Ramsey's leg with a horrendous challenge during Britannia Stadium behind in February. And while fury over a situation still simmers between Arsenal fans, Arsene Wenger is fairly certain Shawcross won't need his own personal company to protect him during a match.

From a Guardian:

Asked either Shawcross would need extra insurance during a weekend, Wenger said: "I can reassure you which will not be needed.

"What happened in a past, happened in a past. We have come out upon which I don't think there is any need to supplement any fuel upon it as well as only concentration upon personification football as you always do as well as respecting a opponents.

"What is critical is you wish to see a football diversion where both teams play good football. It is Arsenal opposite Stoke. Every diversion is opposite as well as it is a new start.

"We do not have any preconceived ideas before a diversion happens upon any individual. We wish to win a game, concentration upon it as well as respect a opponent as you always do."

The good news for vengeance seekers, however, is which Arsenal have been third to last in a satisfactory play list with 32 yellow cards as well as four reds. So there's a pretty good possibility they'll get a couple of shots in during Shawcross only by personification as they would normally.

Still, tensions should be eased by a actuality which Ramsey, who is upon loan during Nottingham Forest, will not be around. Unless, of course, he makes a warn coming with his friend a Benny a ball-peen hammer.
