DTotD: Dani Alves accidentally rams his knee into Mascheranos head

Javier Mascherano played the full 90 minutes in Barcelona's 1- win over Sporting Gijon over the weekend despite an unfortunate run-in between his head and Dani Alves' knee. Mascherano slid in for a challenge, but instead of getting the ball or even the opposing player, he only caught Alves, who tumbled over him and broke his fall by planting that knee in Javier's noggin.

Had Martin Atkinson been the referee in this match, Mascherano wouldn've been sent off so fast it would've made his head spin. Even more than it already was.
