Balotelli celebrates FA Cup win by swearing on live TV

(Warning: Mario says a naughty word.)

Manchester City finally ended their 35-year trophy drought by beating Stoke 1-0 in the FA Cup final. The relief amongst the pricey team was immediately evident as not one, but two Man City players got a little sweary in their post-match interviews (which were broadcast live). First Micah Richards dropped an F-bomb, then Mario Balotelli, who has earned a reputation for being brash and thinking highly of himself (in December he said only Lionel Messi is "a little stronger than me"), uttered perhaps the most endearing line that could possibly be deemed obscene for a TV audience:

"I played -- all my season was sh- s***. Can I say that? (smiles) My season wasn't good."

Between this, the bib incident and the questionable tales of him helping bullied youths and needy hobos, you really have to enjoy the gift that is Mario Balotelli. He played exceptionally well in this match, too. He was named Man of the Match and almost got the goal that Yaya Toure eventually pounded in. Which, of course, prompted another Balotellism when he celebrated that goal by trying to trip Toure from behind...

Oh, Mario.
