DTotD: Osasunas Nelson gets ugly injury for attempting a tackle

(Warning: This is gross.)

MLS isn't the only place where you can get your ankle twisted the wrong direction by a bad tackles (though it remains the most likely), it can happen just about anywhere -- including La Liga. Just before halftime in Osasuna's come from behind win over Sevilla, defender Nelson went in for a sliding challenge to try and stop a counter attack and ended up with his foot pointing a way that feet shouldn't point.

It's unusual for the tackler to be the one to come up with the disturbing injury, but Nelson was unlucky enough to be one of the few. Hopefully he makes a speedy recovery, though.
