Retired Ronaldo weighs himself on television

Now that Ronaldo is retired, it really doesn't matter how fat he is. He said it himself. Yet, on Brazilian comedy show CQC, the husky legend agreed to get on a scale to finally bring an end to the scrutiny over his weight.

As the scale groaned and buckled under him, the needle revealed a number -- 73 kg (160 lbs.), four less than he weighed at the 1998 World Cup. Ronaldo laughed and put his new favorite scale under his arm as everyone cheered. But before too many could reconsider their understanding of numbers and weight, Ronaldo confessed on Twitter that the whole thing was a ruse and the scale had been manipulated.

So with that, the discussion of Ronaldo's increasing chubbiness will probably subside, happily ending with Ronaldo himself in on the joke.
