Wesley Sneijder scores a goal too fantastic for a friendly
Wesley Sneijder opened the scoring in the Netherlands 3-1 win over Austria on Wednesday with stunner that deserved a bigger stage than a piddly midseason friendly. Keeping his balance as he blew through a defender's attempt to trip him, linking up for a couple of quick passes and launching a volley off the crossbar and into the goal as he fell to the ground -- Sneijder showed his class yet again. This was his 20th goal for the Netherlands.
Sneijder came off at halftime, mostly because a friendly only deserves 45 minutes of his awesomeness.
