Cristiano Ronaldo is Real Madrid's fastest to 50 league goals
Because La Liga is now a vehicle that solely exists for Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to try and outscore one another, Ronaldo snapped his brief string of matches without a goal the day after Messi scored a hat trick to jump ahead of him. And since both players are almost physically incapable of scoring one goal at time, Cristiano made it two against Real Sociedad, putting him even with Messi at 24 goals on the season and giving him 50 league goals in his first 51 matches with Real Madrid.
That, as you might imagine, is a new club record, breaking Ferenc Puskas' record of 50 in 54 matches from 1960 (see the full list here). And as if that bit of history wasn't enough for one match, Cristiano also did this just for giggles...
As he grows tired of constantly scoring goals, he would probably take to exclusively touching the ball with his back just to give himself a new challenge.
