Ronaldinho's first goal for Flamengo (is a penalty)
After receiving a rapturous welcome before his first match for Flamengo, Ronaldinho kept the party rolling in his second match by scoring his side's first goal in a 3-2 win over Boavista on Sunday. Yes, it was only a penalty and he wasn't even the one who earned it, but he still celebrated by dancing to the samba beats that constantly reverberate inside his head.
He probably did the dance and twirl because, by his standards, a run-of-the-mill penalty is simply not the wowing display of magic fans have come to expect. I mean, anything short of an overhead kick from the midway line should hardly count as a goal for him at this point.
