Andrei Arshavin proves he still exists, scores winner against Barca

Arshavin celebrates by covering his face and revealing a shirt emblazoned with...his face.

Andrei Arshavin popped out of whatever magical tree house he's been hiding in this season to score a late goal for Arsenal on Wednesday, giving them a 2-1 advantage over Barcelona heading into the second leg of their Champions League tie at Camp Nou. Though Barcelona looked in control with a 1-0 lead at halftime, were able to come back thanks in part to Victor Valdes falling asleep on Robin van Persie's goal and the fact that Lionel Messi continued his streak of scoring zero goals in seven matches on English turf. Nicklas Bendtner, who entered the match in the 77th minute, will surely be taking full credit for the victory, though.

It was a tremendous performance from Arsenal, especially considering that they aren't too far removed from squandering a 4-0 lead against Newcastle. Now if we could just get Arshavin to do another Q&A on his website.
